Setting Higher Standards with Our AAHA Accredited Animal Hospital in Limerick

Since Limerick Veterinary Hospital's inception more than 70 years ago, we have never stopped working to improve. Committed to seeking new areas in which to excel, we rose to the challenge and became an AAHA accredited animal hospital. AAHA Accreditation is our promise to you that we will always put your pet's needs first. Furthermore, being accredited motivates our team to pursue additional growth and excellence in every aspect of veterinary medicine.

What it Means to Be AAHA Accredited

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only accrediting organization for small animal practices in North America. Since 1933, AAHA has influenced approximately 12-15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada to become accredited.

Because accreditation is entirely voluntary, we have chosen to commit ourselves to higher veterinary standards. Some areas in which we've set the bar higher include:

AAHA-accredited hospitals can only remain accredited by undergoing and passing inspection every three years. This ensures that we are continuously meeting or exceeding over 900 different quality standards throughout our practice.

What This Means for You

AAHA Accreditation would not be possible without our dedicated, hard-working team members. Most of all, it would not be possible without our clients and patients. You're a part of our Limerick family, and we want what is best for you and your pet. You can always expect compassion, support and a warm welcome when you stop in to see us.

Our goal is to be your pet's trusted caregiver for life, and to continue providing outstanding care to our community. If you would like to know more about AAHA and how it benefits your pet, you can call us at (610) 489-2848 or visit aaha.org.
