Our Doctors



Dr. Charles Koenig, a graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1957, is the founding partner of Limerick Veterinary Hospital in 1961.  He is semi-retired and still works two days a week in the profession he loves!  He continues to be a slow jogger with his faithful dog, Emma, at his side.  On his "off" days, he devotes a lot of time to the Rotary Clubs of Pottstown and Spring-Ford.  Presently he is working with Pottstown School District to establish an Interact Club of Rotary at the student level.  He is liaison between Pottstown Rotary and Camp Neidig, a leadership camp held each June for juniors of local schools.  He also serves as a mentor for veterinary students at University of Pennsylvania. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 





Dr. Nicol

Dr. Robert Nicol , a graduate of Bristol Veterinary School and a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London, England, joined our staff in 1987. Dr. Nicol was in private practice for four years in London and eight years in Jamaica before coming here. He has multiple areas of interest in veterinary medicine. Over the years he has developed special skills in the fields of veterinary orthopedics and abdominal ultrasound. Dr. Nicol is an avid golfer and a member of Philadelphia Pickwick club. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 





Dr. Yarnall

Dr. Michael Yarnall, joined the staff at Limerick Veterinary Hospital in 1996 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He has always lived in the area, graduating from Boyertown High School before attending Albright College in Reading. Dr. Yarnall has a passion for work working with dogs and cats. He takes pride in working with and getting to know his clients and their pets from puppies and kittens through the golden years. In his free time Michael is an avid mountain bike racer and backpacker. He also enjoys collecting old trucks and tractors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Dr. Janet Hanning, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, joined our staff in June of 1996. Prior to coming to Limerick, Dr. Hanning worked in emergency medicine. Dr. Hanning has special interests in small animal medicine including a certification in acupuncture. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, fishing, and spending time with her son.








Dr. Mosebey

Dr. Tim Mosebey joined the staff at Limerick Veterinary Hospital after graduating from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2005.   Dr. Mosebey has a special interest in companion animal medicine including cardiology, pain management and dentistry.   In his free time he enjoys hiking, skiing, competing in triathlons and is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 





Dr. Tiffany Pfluger (formerly Dr. Catalino) is a graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine and joined the Limerick Veterinary Hospital family in 2008.   Dr. Pfluger's professional interests include companion animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology.   In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her husband and "fur"babies - KT, Lion, Pickles, Punk and Sam.   She is also always hoping to catch a Lehigh Valley IronPigs or Philadelphia Eagles game.

   

 

 

 

  

 

 

 







  Dr. Maura McGinley received her undergraduate degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia and is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.   She joined the Limerick Veterinary Hospital family in 2010.   She has a particular interest in ophthalmology and emergency/critical care medicine.   In her free time she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her husband and two sons.  

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

  





 Dr. Makary

Dr. Nabil Makary , a graduate from the University of Cairo Egypt, joined our staff in 1986.  He has special interests in small animals and exotics medicine and enjoys spending his free time with his grandchildren Morgan Elizabeth and Anderson Scott.  After retiring from a 31-year career with the federal government, Dr. Makary now spends more of his time working part-time for the hospital.
